University Residence Halls

University residence hall accommodations are available. View this housing rates page for the cost per person for the various residence hall options. Please note that all accommodations are offered on a first-come, first-served basis and room types will be assigned based on availability. Students who submit contracts are obligated to the housing contract for the length of time specified unless they withdraw from the program. More information about on-campus housing can be found at eLiving. You may also contact the Assignment Office for Campus Residences at 814-865-7501.

Accommodations in University Residence Halls are available for Penn State students as well as visiting students. However, students must be at least 18 years old or have graduated from high school in spring 2017 to apply for housing. The Language Institute cannot provide housing for students still enrolled in high school.

Parking

The fee for visitor parking on campus is $6 per day for permit parking, cash or check payments only (subject to change). Permit parking is in one of three parking decks on campus: East Deck, Eisenhower Deck, or Nittany Deck (located next to The Nittany Lion Inn). Permits can be purchased from the Parking Office on weekdays. You will need an ID and license plate number from the vehicle you are parking on campus.

Hourly parking is also available at HUB Deck, East Deck, or Nittany Deck. The fee is $1 per hour (or any portion of an hour), paid when exiting these decks. Only cash is accepted. Please do not lose the stub you receive upon entering, or you will be a charged $12 daily maximum, regardless how many hours you are parked there. Permits are required to park in these decks overnight.

Please visit the Transportation Services website for maps showing the lots available for visitor parking.
